Amongst the natural and historical beauty, we suggest you visit the many historical ruins and Austro-Hungarian forts from the First World War, the medieval fortress Castel Beseno, the lake of Lavarone, and finally Guardia the painted village.

In the winter one can find modern downhill and cross-country skiing areas, places to ice skate and sled all reached by free ski-bus services. Other interesting activities are Alpine skiing, and hiking, dog-sledding, snow-shoeing and snow-mobiling. We also wish to tell you about the big winter events and the competition calendar.

The Hotel "Due Spade" has a long history; founded about 1875 to provide board and lodging for the first tourists in the area. Situated in a strategic position, during the First World War, the hotel was used as the headquarters for the Austo-Hungarian troops "Kaiserjager". The " Due spade ", always used as an hotel, was eventually bought by Franco and Rita Cuel, who continue to offer typically regional Trentino hospitality.
